My career began on the front lines of China’s digital revolution. I quickly evolved from a fresh graduate into a pioneering intrapreneur with a track record of building from zero. At cutting-edge agencies like Kantar Media CIC, Razorfish, and Waggener Edstrom, my roles consistently centered on creating value from scratch—developing industry-first methodologies, building new ventures, and scaling new business divisions.

This path as an intrapreneur and builder led me to co-found arkr GROUP, which I led through acquisition by LEO GROUP (002131, Shenzhen Stock Exchange) in 2014 – one of the top digital agency M&A deals in Asia Pacific that year.

Since 2020, I have operated Society Labs & Company as the continuous vehicle for my post-acquisition tenure. Grounded in my digital roots and born from a personal passion to back young entrepreneurs, SLC has evolved beyond a traditional early-stage investment firm. Adopting an unaggressive investing approach, I reimagined the platform to accelerate the transition to regenerative business. Today, with Digitalization & Artificial Intelligence at the forefront, I actively empower portfolio companies by embedding AI capabilities into their operations—creating an ecosystem where innovation ignites sustainable impact across China and the Asia-Pacific.

Between 2022 and 2024, I dedicated a specific period within this tenure to co-found Opera & Partner alongside a fellow industry veteran. Serving as Executive in Residence for three years, I focused on guiding founders in China’s digital media sector through the post-pandemic economy. We utilized a hands-on, "consulting-for-equity" model to provide intensive coaching in exchange for minority stakes, helping emerging companies instill resilience during a volatile market cycle.

These years of building, scaling, and investing have evolved my approach beyond traditional growth metrics to focus on creating enduring value – enterprises that generate strong returns while building resilient operations, empowering teams, and contributing positively to their communities and environment.
